Bexar Recreation Society (BRS) is a non-landed nudist club affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and AANR-SW. AANR is the most well-known nudist organization in the United States. We follow AANR principles and code of conduct to offer a safe environment for everyone interested in social nudism. BRS is a non-sexual nudist group and does not allow or support the swinger lifestyle.
AANR membership is required to be a member of BRS. We also encourage membership in The Naturist Society, (TNS) another national nudist/naturist organization we support.
BRS has a long history in San Antonio and the surrounding area. We hold social events independently and with other non-landed/travel clubs. We also travel to other locations and landed nudist clubs/resorts for recreational outings.
BRS is a fun and social group of people that provides opportunities to experience fun in the nude. BRS events and the clubs we visit are no-judgment zones where physical appearances do not matter. We are an inclusive group that does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.
BRS creates an atmosphere of friendship and trust, where our members and guests enjoy the full benefits of the nudist/naturist lifestyle in a safe and secure environment. Take advantage of this opportunity to discover the freedom and well-being social nudism/naturism offers.
*Disclaimer: A Facebook group called "Friends of Bexar Recreation Society SA, TX" describes BRS as having a "partnership" with Freedom RV Resort in Pleasanton. This is a non-sanctioned group that is in no way related to BRS. Our only official affiliation is with AANR/AANR-SW. While we do visit Freedom RV Resort and attend events, there is no "partnership". The only official BRS Facebook groups are Bexar Recreation Society and BRS Members Only.
BRS is an AANR-affiliated Club. While attending any BRS scheduled event (clothed or unclothed), guests, prospective members or club members must follow the basic principles of social nude recreation set forth by AANR and BRS Standing Rules.
The following is our Code of Conduct and Nude Etiquette Basics, which is expected at any BRS event.
The American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) has worked since 1931 to promote a better understanding of the clothes-free lifestyle and the naturalness of nude recreation, providing services for members throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond. AANR has served more than 213,000 individuals who enjoy clothes-free and clothing-optional recreation throughout North America. Currently, there are over 260 nudist clubs affiliated with AANR. Membership provides many opportunities for fun, yet joining AANR is similar to investing in an insurance policy, ensuring that the right to enjoy nude recreation in appropriate settings is protected.
Knowing you are part of the oldest mission-based organization advocating for nudist rights, protection from unfair treatment, and expanded nudist-friendly places.
* The benefits described above apply to all individual AANR memberships
